Freshman Parents Mix It Up with Student Council

Posted on

Tuesday September 13th, 2011, Wayne County High School Student Council held a mixer for the parents of those Freshman students who are new to Student Council.  It was an opportunity to introduce all the Student Council members from each grade level and explain projects, executive titles, attendance and participation of events, and all the various other things that the Student Council does to better the experience on Wayne County High School students and hopefully make an effect on the community they are a part of.   The parents were able to “mix” it up by actually mixing paint to form a rainbow with other parents and students.

What a great way to get to know those other parents around you!  Refreshments were provided and enjoyed by all.  The evening was a wonderful success and a great tool for letting WCHS parents know we are here to make EVERYONE feel like they are a part of what this school has to offer.
